Hector Perez is a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in the Transaction Services group focusing of providing financial due diligence services for private equity firms and corporations on targets within the financial services industry. He has performed both buy-side and sell-side diligence services for domestic and multi-national clients on domestic and cross border transactions. Hector has been with PwC for over twelve years. During this time, Hector has served in PwC's Assurance practice, providing assurance services to clients in financial services industry. Hector did a national rotation in the Office of the CFO and Vice Chairman, focusing on driving strategic initiatives for PwC.
Hector is the National President of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA), an organization he has been a member of for over twelve years. During this time, Hector has served in many other leadership roles, including National Vice President and Chair of the Finance Committee. In addition to his national roles, Hector previously held board positions at the local level. In 2007 Hector was honored with the Outstanding Service to ALPFA Award.
In addition to ALPFA, Hector serves on the Board of Trustees of the Health Care Chaplaincy, a not-for-profit organization, where he is the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.
Hector received his B.B.A. in Public Accounting from Pace University in New York. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New York State and is a member of the AICPA and the New York State Society of CPAs.
