Anthony B. Lopez

Anthony is currently the Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Respirator Business in Carefusion (CFN). CareFusion is S&P 500 $4.5 billion company. As SVP/General Manager, he is responsible for running the $750 million Respiratory Business with more than 4,500 employees world-wide. He is a member of the Respiratory & Infusion leadership team.

Anthony is also President, L&L Associates. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, and a MS in Engineering Management. He is a graduate of the Department of Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute. He served as a US Air Force Officer as a Flight Test Director. Later, he served as a Human Resources Officer in the Air Force Reserve. He joined Johnson & Johnson in 1991. While at J&J he held leadership positions in Corporate Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Communications, and General Management. He also served as Chairperson for the Hispanic Organization For Leadership & Achievement (HOLA) at J&J. Prior to his current position, Tony was the Global Vice President for Marketing at ConMed/Linvatec. He serves on the Editorial Board of the NSHMBA Business Journal of Hispanic Research. He founded L&L Associates, a Leadership & Management Consulting group, in 1998.

Tony is a sought-after speaker and expert on leadership and management topics. He has presented to audiences throughout the United States and Latin America; and thousands of people have attended his seminars. Tony is the author of "The Legacy Leader": Leadership With A Purpose", "Breakthrough Thinking: The Legacy Leader’s Role In Driving Innovation" , "The Leader’s Lobotomy: The Legacy Leader Avoids Promotion Induced Amnesia", and "See You At The Wake: Healing Relationships Before It’s Too Late". He is also the author of "The Diversity Engagement Model: From Awareness to Action", published in October 2008 in The Journal for Hispanic Business Research. His most recent work, "The Legacy Leader 2nd Edition", "The Leader In The Mirror: The Legacy Leader’s Critical Self Assessment", and "Jag: Christian Lessons Learned From My Golden Retriever" are scheduled to be available in 2-3Q 2010.
