Israel "Izzy" Maldonado is an Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch's’ Princeton office. With more than 17 years of securities industry experience, Izzy is fully invested in his clients.
Izzy graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with dual degrees in Aeronautical Engineering and Flight Technology (Pilot). He also served in the U.S. ARMY for 4 years and obtained the rank of Captain.
Izzy manages in excess of $50 million of clients' assets. He strives to help each one of his clients plan for a financial future in a way that best meets their goals. Whether a client finds himself or herself planning for retirement or saving for children’s or grandchildren’s education or perhaps receiving a promotion and dealing with complicated decisions such as Stock Options or Deferred Compensation Plans, or unexpected transitions like divorce, being displaced by an organization or losing a loved one, Izzy uses a triangular approach that emphasis preserving wealth, minimizing the impact of taxes and growing assets with the client’s values and objectives guiding the process.
Izzy is an active member in community organizations. He is a member or Rotary International, Past Chairman of the Greater Mercer County United Way (Princeton), Past President of Mercer County Hispanic Association (Trenton), Vice Chairman of the Alliance to End Homelessness and a Board Member of the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce, Mercer County Community College Foundation and the Boy Scouts of Central New Jersey Council.
Izzy has three boys: Alex, Andy and Paul, and he resides in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
